Engineering At The Core

Lifting - Storing - Strategic Maneuvering

Direct Material Handling Ltd Is Built On Practical Engineering Understanding.

FOUNDATION

We Have Rebuilt Forklift Trucks From Chassis Level, Diagnosed Complex Mechanical And Electrical Issues, And Seen Firsthand How Equipment Performs Over Time.

That Experience Informs Every Decision We Make.

WHY IT MATTERS

Understanding Equipment At Component Level Allows Us To:

Identify Long-Term Cost Drivers
We Understand What Fails, When It Fails, And What That Means For Your Budget.

Predict Wear Patterns And Maintenance Exposure
Decades Of Hands-On Work Inform Our Reliability Assessments.

Specify Appropriate Technology
Not The Newest. Not The Cheapest. The Right Fit For The Application.

Avoid Over-Specification
Paying For Capability You Will Never Use Is Not A Solution.

Recommend Refurbishment Where Viable
Sometimes The Most Cost-Effective Option Is Rebuilding What You Already Have.

We Do Not Rely Solely On Brochures Or Manufacturer Claims.

FROM ENGINEERING TO STRATEGY

As Customer Requirements Evolved, So Did Our Role.
Our Engineering Background Naturally Led Into:

Fleet Optimisation
Space Redesign
Hybrid Technology Adoption
Full Turnkey Warehouse
Long-Term Contract Structures
VNA Conversions
Lithium Integration
Projects

BUILT ON EXPERIENCE

The Business Was Built From The Workshop Floor Upward.

Before Turnkey Projects And Automation Systems, Our Foundations Were In Component-Level Rebuilds, Refurbishment And Fault Diagnosis.

That Background Still Shapes How We Specify, Support And Structure Every Solution Today.

Engineering Is Not An Add-On To Our Service

It Is The Foundation

TCM FG25 FORKLIFT FULL REBUILD

This Project Involved A Complete Rebuild Of A TCM FG25 Internal Combustion Forklift Truck. The Machine Was Stripped Down To The Chassis, Shot Blasted, Repainted And Fully Rebuilt To Restore Both Performance And Appearance.

Rebuild Process

STAGE 1 – FULL STRIP DOWN

The Forklift Was Completely Stripped Back To The Chassis With Major Components Removed To Inspect Wear And Prepare The Truck For Restoration.

STAGE 2 – CHASSIS AND COMPONENT PREPERATTION

The Chassis And Components Were Shot Blasted To Remove Corrosion, Paint And Contaminants, Creating A Clean Surface Ready For Refinishing.

STAGE 3 – REPAINT AND POWDER COATING

Key Parts And Panels Were Repainted And Powder Coated To Restore The Forklift And Provide Long-Term Protection.

STAGE 4 – REBUILD AND REASSEMBLY

The Truck Was Fully Rebuilt And Reassembled With Inspected And Refurbished Components Before Final Checks.

PROJECT SPECIFICATION

Truck Model: TCM FG25

Type: Internal Combustion Counterbalance Forklift

Work Completed:

  • Full Chassis Strip Down
  • Shot Blasting
  • Repaint And Powder Coating
